I have been writing about the lack of integration in real estate marketing systems for years. There have been some alternatives, but they weren’t easy to learn or use, meaning that most people just gave up on the idea.
That situation has changed with the recent announcement of a new integrated system from IXACT Contact. I’ve always loved how easy IXACT is to use as a contact management system. Recently, they announced the integration of a real estate website and IDX search.
Here’s how I see the potential of this system:
1. You now have a website with an integrated IDX. That means that the search engines can see all your listing pages and give your site credit for lots of content. Since the IDX is integrated, you have quick search forms that are a part of the site design, not just an add-on or something that requires expensive coding to integrate.
2. Leads can be automatically entered into the contact list from a variety of sources. When a lead completes a contact form on the website, or creates a search account on the IDX, that contact is automatically entered into the contact list. You can set up other resources like Zillow and Trulia to send their contacts to the list, too.
3. You can go to one system to do all of these things: Manage your contacts, assign activity plans that will do electronic communication automatically and remind you to do phone follow up calls, keep track of your email correspondence and notes pertaining to phone conversations with clients/leads, manage your calendar and to do list, publish email newsletters and email marketing campaigns.
4. In summary, you’ll be able to cultivate and convert leads much more effectively than you can now. That ability will mean more clients and more commissions!
And, these are just a few of the advantages of the integrated system. I wanted you to have the opportunity to see how the system works because it’s a little difficult to imagine all these things based on a description.
